The CLA announced the cancellation of all national championships for the 2020 season due to concerns over COVID-19. The Founders Cup, which was to be hosted in Brampton was included that cancellation.
The Brampton Excelsiors Lacrosse Club and the Brampton Junior B Excelsiors are hoping to host this prestigious championship in 2021.
