John McCauley Memorial Tournament

The Brampton Minor Lacrosse Association (BMLA) annually hosts the John McCauley Memorial Tournament, one of Ontario's premier minor "A" lacrosse events. This tournament welcomes U9 to U17 teams from across the province, fostering competitive play and community engagement.

The event honours the late John McCauley, a dedicated supporter of Brampton lacrosse, celebrating his enduring legacy within the sport.

The tournament also presents the Irene McCauley Memorial Award to a player exemplifying courage, strength, faith, loyalty, and passion for lacrosse, further commemorating the McCauley family's contributions.

This gathering not only showcases young talent but also reinforces the BMLA's commitment to honouring those who have significantly impacted the lacrosse community.
