On Saturday April 17, 2021, Brampton lost a tremendous member of the lacrosse community and the community-at-large. Terry Haynes (Feb 24, 1941 – April 17, 2021), or Mr. Haynes for those us who also knew him as a vice-principal, was a life member of the Brampton Excelsiors Lacrosse Club who gave back at every level and in every position throughout the years. Mr. Haynes was also a key contributor to the growth of high school lacrosse, not just in Brampton, but the Peel Region.
