The following awards are presented annually by the BELC Executive Committee to individuals who have stood out for their contributions to the Excelsiors, to Brampton, and to lacrosse.
George “Mush” Thompson Award – Presented for outstanding contributions and dedication to Brampton Lacrosse.
2022/2023 Recipient – Brian Beisel
Bruce Wanless Ambassador Award – Presented for outstanding promotion of Brampton lacrosse and representation of the values of the BELC.
2022/2023 Recipient – Dean McLeod
President’s Award – Presented by the President to a member of the Board of Directors who has stood out for their conduct, and having gone above and beyond the call of duty.
2022/2023 Recipient – Keith Slinger
Members of the BELC may nominate individuals they feel are deserving of any of these awards by submitting a completed Award Nomination Form to the BELC Secretary, or President.
